about?
The moment before we wake up, there is an extremely short but exciting window of time. We’re not quite awake yet – not really asleep anymore either. In such moments, and only then, there is a theoretical chance to get in touch with a very shy creature. A supernatural being that has never introduced itself to anyone. Until now.
Because it doesn´t understand humans, neither their appearance nor their language. But luckily (for us), there is a common language that both understand, humans and the mythical something mentioned above.
We call this language music. And now let’s talk.
For the first time we are able to present a snippet, a short piece of audiovisual content which allows us to observe how this extraordinary thing expresses itself.
“Holy bird, what a snappy bang!” was our first thought when we heard the sound. But in general, we didn´t understand anything. Completely confusing, jumpy music and a visual disaster. But for us, what counts is the first thought that we had: punchy.
Unfortunately, there is an issue with this term. Because nowadays everyone claims their music is punchy, which in most cases is a reckless misleading of the audience. So we had to solve this mess and simply introduced a whole new genre exclusively for fabelvogel music:
Reverently calling it: punch & waste
Wait, who is fabelvogel? Half asleep again? You guessed it. That’s how we named this fabulous bird since it sounds most suitable to us. And the name of the song? We mentioned it above. Wait, did we?
Not sure, so we took another look at all the words we’ve written and two of them caught our eye: snappybang. Let’s decide to write it as one single word since it looks fancy as hell. Yes, we came up with a whole new word that will probably haunt us from now on.
Anyway, by nature of things, it´s almost impossible to photograph a real fabelvogel – so we are proud to present a very rare picture, at least of its upper hair.
Extremely beautiful, isn’t it?
